About Seth and Leah

 

Seth Decker

Seth Decker is a magna cum laude graduate of Boston University Theatre Conservatory with a BFA in Classical Stage Acting. He has been involved in the theater since age 8, where he got his start in the Children’s Theater of Charlotte, North Carolina. Since then Seth has been seen on the stage all over the country from San Francisco to Boston. He has appeared in various television and radio commercials and lives in Atlanta where he has become highly regarded for his original theater, storytelling, and kid’s music programs.

Seth founded the Red Door Playhouse with his wife, Leah in April 2003 and continues to have great success as a professional actor and musician. At the Red Door Playhouse, his original programs include the Red Door ROCKS! Family Concert Series, a new kids rock CD, and the popular Summer Drama Camp program. Seth is excited to continue inspiring young artists toward success, and building the Red Door Playhouse concept into a thriving art center for all to enjoy.

Leah Decker

Leah Decker is the Red Door Playhouse’s art director and designer. She hails from the University of Georgia with a BA in Early Child Development with a wide-range of experience in visual arts. She has significant experience in children’s literature and has contributed to many arts programs throughout Metro Atlanta. She has performed at the Center of Puppetry Arts in Atlanta and was an instructor for the Evanston Arts Council in Chicago, IL.

Leah founded the Red Door Playhouse with her husband Seth in April 2003, while she continues her career as a professional visual artist. Leah designs all puppets, concepts and sets for all theater productions and heads all visual art programs at the Red Door. She also sells her original art work exclusively at the Red Door Gallery.
